Ruta Asimus, HR executive, IBM Australia

Ruta Asimus has worked in human resources for nearly 30 years in a number of industries including finance, engineering, retail and IT. Her experience has been built up in Canada, Hong Kong, Australia and China.

Asimus is presently with IBM holding the position of human resources executive for Australia and New Zealand, sales and distribution divisions. She is also responsible for employee morale and acquisitions for Australia and New Zealand 

Her human resources background has focused on large organisational change management initiatives and the development of senior leaders. Asimus is an experienced facilitator and is certified as an executive coach.
