Jane Thomas, group head of people and culture, AGL Energy

Jane Thomas joined AGL Energy as the head of people and culture from
PepsiCo Australia and New Zealand where she was human resources vice president.

At AGL, people and culture plays a critical role in delivering the
company's ambitions right across the business. Thomas brings to the role significant depth of experience in HR in large organisations such as PepsiCo Australia, Westpac Banking Corporation and Philips Electronics Australia. In these roles she achieved significant success in driving strategic organisational and cultural change. With more than 15 years experience in HR Jane will bring to AGL the necessary capabilities and experience to lead and develop people and culture at AGL.

Jane was awarded two global HR awards for her cultural contribution
and the strategic direction of HR at PepsiCo. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Business degree with Honours in Industrial Law from The University of South Australia, Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree with Honours from The University of Adelaide and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The Australian National University. And
most recently a Masters of Organisational Coaching from University of Sydney. She is also a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
